James N. Fernandez was named to the board of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation with its founding in 2000. The Foundation supports nonprofit organizations dedicated to the preservation of the arts and environmental conservation.
In addition, Mr. Fernandez is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Tiffany & Co. In this role, he has overall responsibility for all financial functions as well as investor relations, information technology, distribution, manufacturing, and Tiffany's diamond and gemstone division.
Mr. Fernandez graduated from Pace University in 1978, where he received a B.B.A. in accounting. He received an M.B.A. in corporate finance from Fordham University in 1982. He is a C.P.A. and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International, the Institute of Management Accountants and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Mr. Fernandez has served on the Board of Directors of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation since 2004. He also serves on the regional Advisory Boards of JP Morgan Chase and FM Global, and on Fordham University's Schools of Business Advisory Board.
