Michael J. Kowalski

Mr. Kowalski serves as a member of the Board of Directors of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation. Mr. Kowalski was instrumental in the establishment of the Foundation, and has served on the Board of Directors since its inception in 2000.

He was appointed president of Tiffany & Co. in January 1996, assumed the role of chief executive officer in February 1999 and was appointed board chairman in January 2003. He retired as chief executive officer in April 2015 and continues in the role of board member.

Mr. Kowalski also serves as a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, as Chairman of the Board of Overseers of the Penn Museum, as a board member of the Conservation Lands Foundation and as Chairman of the Caribbean Board of Trustees of the Nature Conservancy.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University.
