After an extensive ten-year renovation, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam reopened its doors to the public on April 14, 2013. The brilliant transformation of the museum has been recognized globally for its innovative design execution and meticulous restoration to an elevated state of grandeur. The Tiffany & Co. Foundation Gallery is a beautiful new hall in the museum and exhibits an international jewelry collection of 300 pieces spanning twelve centuries.

The Rijksmuseum is one of the world’s most prestigious museums and one of Amsterdam’s most visited locations, with over one million visitors annually. In addition to creating The Tiffany & Co. Foundation Gallery, the Foundation’s support will allow the museum to enhance the visitor experience and care for its impressive jewelry collection through ongoing research, education and preservation.

The Tiffany & Co. Foundation’s support of the Rijksmuseum is made possible through a grant to the King Baudouin Foundation United States.
